Primary Study of Applicability of Plane-section Assumption of Shaped RC Columns

Adopting the element SOLID65 and LINK8 in the general finite element analysis software ANSYS and fiber model beam-column element based on finite element flexibility method respectively, the comparative analysis of the cross, L and T-shaped RC columns under compression, bending, shear and torsion with flange width-thickness ratio of 4:1 is carried out. The applicability of plane section assumption in the nonlinear analysis is discussed primarily, which shows that it is feasible on the whole for shaped RC columns with flange width-thickness ratio equal to or smaller than 4:1.

WinSock is a group of API,which is used to transmit data and exchange information on Internet,the Socket Application programme impoldered by users may communicate with other Socket Application programes by Internet. Delphi provides Socket components,which sustains the TCP/IP protocol and makes the Internet programming acquiring much more flexibility.This paper probes that how to realize transmission of files in any format under nonblocking mode between clients and servers by means of Socket components of Delphi.     

APPLICATION OF DECOMPOSITION COORDINATION METHOD OF LARGE - SCALE SYSTEMS AND METHOD OF NONLINEAR PROGRAMMING TO ECONOMIC SCHEDULING OF POWER SYSTEM

In this paper,we discuss a mathematical mode) for optimization of active power dispatch of large-scale hydro-thermal power systems with cascaded hydropower stations. The following factors are taken into account: the variation of the head in the hydropower stations, water transport delay between cascaded stations etc. Using the decomposition-coordination method of large scale systems, we obtain a three-layer-hierarchical coordination system and a three-layer-hierarchical computational structure. We also discuss the computational methods which are used by each hierarchy. We have taken a test computation and analysing the result of an actual hydrothermal power system. The computational results show that it may obtain a satisfactory economic benefit. The paper provides some research work on the economic scheduling of hydrothermal power systems by the decomposition-coordination method of large-scale systems,multiplier method and a new variable metric method.     

A Reactive Power OptimlZation Method by Linear Program ming with Secure Correction

This paper presents a reactive power optimization method which combines thelinear programming model with secure correction. In correction. this mOdel presents a new idea inwhich the feasible control region of con trol variables is resolved by over constrained state varlables. This method is quick and reliable and overcomes oscillation of a general linear programming model.     

TRUST REGION METHOD FOR UNCONSTRAINED OPTIMIZATION

A new trust region algorithm is proposed for solving unconstrained optimization problems. According to the quadratic approximate model of the original optimization problem,the trust region algorithm uses directions,a convex combination of the quasi-newton direction and the steepest descent direction. This algorithm with new strategy is analyzed and the global and local quadratic convergent theorems are proved. At last,the implementation and computational results of the algorithm are demonstrated.

Nonlinear Characteristic Modeling of Servo Value on Hydraulic Bending Roll System''s Dynamic Characteristic

Nonlinear characteristic of servo value is the important factor influencing hydraulic system, the model of electro-hydraulic servo pressure control system is designed. In this model, flux-equation of servo valve is specially applied and some non-linear characteristics are considered. Furthermore, SIMULINK toolbox of MATLAB language software is applied to solve mathematic model and simulation curves of some variables are obtained. The calculation results are in good agreement with the experimental results.     

NETWORK FEOW APPROACH TO RELIABILITY EVALUATION IN IARGE SCALE NETWORKS BY MIXING INCREASING ELOW WITH DECREASING FLOW

Based on the maximum flow principle about networks, a network flow approach to reliability evaluation in large scale netwerks ty mixing inereasing flow with decreasing flow is proposed in this paper.This approach gets the initial flow of each branch in a r.etwork associated with a state of the retwork by decreasing flows of some branches correlative to another state of the network.As a result, the number of flow compute required can be reduced enormously.The numerical example shows that the approach is powerful. The comparison of this approach with the minimal cutset one is also given in this paper.
